At Hushpuppied, we strive to get your favorite shoes to your doorstep as quickly and reliably as possible. This Shipping Policy outlines our delivery options, timelines, costs, and procedures to keep you informed every step of the way—from the moment you place your order to when it arrives.

1. Shipping Eligibility & Coverage

We currently ship to the following locations:

  • Domestic: All 50 states of the U.S., including Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands).
  • International: Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and most countries in the European Union (EU).

If your location is not listed above, please contact us at [email protected] to inquire about potential shipping arrangements. Note that some remote areas may have limited delivery options or additional surcharges.

2. Order Processing Time

Before your order ships, we process and prepare it to ensure quality and accuracy.

  • Processing Time: Typically 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). During peak periods (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas, or new product launches), processing may extend to 3–4 business days—we will notify you via email if there are significant delays.
  • Order Verification: For security purposes, we may occasionally verify order details (e.g., billing address) before processing. This may add a few hours to the processing time, but we will communicate with you promptly if this is needed.

3. Shipping Options, Timelines & Costs

We partner with trusted carriers (UPS, USPS, FedEx, and DHL for international orders) to offer flexible shipping options. Exact delivery times may vary based on your location and carrier delays (e.g., weather, holidays).

  • Customs & Duties: International orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, or fees imposed by your country’s government. These charges are the responsibility of the customer—Hushpuppied does not collect or cover these costs. We recommend checking with your local customs office for estimated fees before placing an order.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, we will send a shipping confirmation email to the address associated with your order. This email includes a unique tracking number and a link to the carrier’s website, where you can monitor your package’s status (e.g., “In Transit,” “Out for Delivery,” “Delivered”).

  • If you do not receive the shipping confirmation email within 3 business days of placing your order, check your spam/junk folder first. If it’s still missing, contact us at [email protected] with your order number for assistance.
  • Tracking information may take 24–48 hours to update on the carrier’s website after your order ships.

5. Shipping Address Changes

We can only modify your shipping address before your order is processed or shipped. To request a change:

  1. Email us at [email protected] immediately with your order number and the updated address.
  2. If your order has already been shipped, we cannot alter the address—you will need to contact the carrier directly using your tracking number to arrange for rerouting (fees may apply).

Note: We are not responsible for packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

6. Missing, Lost, or Delayed Packages

6.1 Delayed Packages

If your package is not delivered within the estimated timeframe:

  • Check the carrier’s tracking page for updates (delays may occur due to weather, high volume, or remote locations).
  • If the tracking shows no movement for 3+ business days, contact us at [email protected]—we will investigate with the carrier and provide updates.

6.2 Lost or Missing Packages

  • If tracking shows your package was “Delivered” but you have not received it, check with neighbors, building management, or your local post office (carriers sometimes leave packages in secure locations).
  • If the package is still unaccounted for, contact us within 48 hours of the “Delivered” status. We will file a claim with the carrier and, upon confirmation of loss, arrange a replacement or full refund.

6.3 Damaged Packages

If your package arrives damaged (e.g., torn box, crushed shoes), take photos of the packaging and the item, then contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will assist with a replacement or refund and coordinate with the carrier for a damage claim.

7. PO Boxes & Military Addresses

  • PO Boxes: We ship to U.S. PO Boxes via USPS Standard Shipping only. Expedited and Overnight options are not available for PO Boxes.
  • Military Addresses (APO/FPO/DPO): We ship to military addresses via USPS Standard Shipping (delivery time may extend to 7–10 business days).

8. Policy Updates

We may update this Shipping Policy to reflect changes in carrier rates, delivery options, or service areas. When we make material changes, we will post the revised policy on our website with a new “Effective Date” and notify registered customers via email.
